California is now expanding access to Transitional Kindergarten (TK) so that all children in our state can benefit.
TK is a school grade that serves as a bridge between preschool and kindergarten. With the 2022-23 school year ahead, all children who turn five between September 2 and February 2 are eligible to enroll in transitional kindergarten programs at their local school.
